(October 31, 2013) – The 2013 German Christmas Show will be held in Fort Wayne on Friday, December 13th. Fort Wayne Sport Club, located at 3102 Ardmore Ave, Fort Wayne, will host the unique event. This annual German Holiday celebration will have a Beef Rouladen and Apple Almond Chicken dinner beginning at 5:30 p.m. with the actual show featuring live entertainers straight from Germany starting at 7:00 p.m.

The dinner menu from Classic Café Catering will include a tossed salad, Beef Rouladen, Apple Almond Chicken breast, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, rolls and butter, assorted pies with coffee and water. Several great draft beers are also available at the Fort Wayne Sport Club bar including Köstritzer, Stella Artois, Guinness, Kilkenny, Beck’s and Bud Light. Many fine bottled beers are also available at the full-service bar.

The event is rapidly approaching, so please make your reservations prior to November 30th, and get your tickets as soon as possible. Whatever your heritage, the German Christmas Show should please both young and old alike. It is a great way to allow the spirit of the Holiday season to dwell in us during this time of the year … with a German twist. There is limited seating, so reservations are required. Tickets are $35 in advance and include both the Rouladen and chicken dinner and the German Christmas Show.

About the Fort Wayne Sport Club
The Fort Wayne Sport Club was founded in 1927 by an active group of soccer players who immigrated to the Fort Wayne area from Germany in the aftermath of World War I. Their immediate goal was ‘the promotion of football (soccer) and German culture’ in the Northeast Indiana area. Today, the Fort Wayne Sport Club is a hub of soccer activity, with programs for recreational and competitive soccer players from age 4-years to 30-and-over. “We are extremely proud of our long history and heritage of encouraging participation in soccer at all levels throughout the area,” stated Dan Kruse, President of Fort Wayne Sport Club.
