2014 Hotel Fitness Championship launches corporate hospitality sales to the general public
Varied packages offer opportunities to entertain during tournament rounds or play in a Pro-Am with a member of the PGA TOUR/Web.com Tour

(November 6, 2013) – The Western Golf Association, host of the Hotel Fitness Championship at Sycamore Hills Golf Club in Fort Wayne, Ind., is now offering several value-based hospitality packages for its Web.com Tour Finals event on Aug. 25-31, 2014.

PGA TOUR sanctioned events are structured to benefit charity, and there are options for corporate participation at a variety of levels, even for small businesses. Proceeds from the 2014 Hotel Fitness Championship will benefit the Evans Scholars Foundation, which awards full tuition and housing college scholarships to caddies who excel in academics and come from families with limited financial means.

  • Nicklaus Skyboxes: These fan favorite, semi-private open-air hospitality venues on the 18th green provide guests with an up-close view of the finishing hole. Each company will have private, stadium-style seating in the skybox, with food and beverages included in the package.
  • Chick Evans Memorial Pro-Am: Participants play with a member of the PGA TOUR or Web.com Tour on Wednesday of tournament week; all proceeds benefit the Evans Scholars Foundation. Individual and foursome options are available. Each foursome will have the opportunity to pick their professional player at a Tuesday night draw party.
  • Champions Club: A shared hospitality venue located inside the Sycamore Hills Clubhouse, where guests will wine and dine amidst all the behind-the-scenes action. Champions Club guests also have access to upgraded pavilions on holes 9 and 16 for on-course viewing.

“We’re excited to return as the title sponsor of this first-class event,” said Bruce Dye, CEO of Hotel Fitness. “I encourage each business in the greater Fort Wayne area to get involved. Our support not only benefits the community, but we are using our sponsorship to further our business goals and relationships.”

The Hotel Fitness Championship is one of four Web.com Tour Finals events that will determine the 50 players who earn cards for the 2014-15 PGA TOUR season under the TOUR’s enhanced qualifying system.

“The corporate support in 2013 was spectacular, and we look forward to an even bigger turnout in 2014,” said Duke Butler IV, WGA tournament director for the Hotel Fitness Championship. “We encourage those interested to contact us as soon as possible, before the opportunities are sold out.”

Players eligible for the Hotel Fitness Championship include the top-75 money winners on the Web.com Tour at the conclusion of the Regular Season; players who finish 126-200 on the PGA TOUR’s FedExCup points list at the end of the TOUR’s Regular Season; and non-members who earn enough points to place them among 126-200 on the FedExCup points list at the end of the regular season.
