National Brewery Collectors of America to Sip 43rd Annual “CANvention” in Fort Wayne
(August 27, 2013) – The Brewery Collectibles Club of America (BCCA) and its loyal members will host its 43rd annual “CANvention” August 29-31, 2013 at the Grand Wayne Convention Center.
For three days, BCCA members will meet to discuss essential membership business, including hosting a President’s Reception, board meeting and Craft Beer Night for members.
The weekend’s highlight event is an open trade show, featuring hundreds of brewery collectible items, such as classic advertisement signs, beer can and glassware artifacts, and other memorabilia from across Indiana and the United States.
The trade show is open to the public for a $10 admission on August 31 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The first 100 attendees are admitted free of charge. Following the tradeshow, BCCA membership will host an awards ceremony and banquet.
The “CANvention” will bring in an estimated 1,000 BCCA members and $1.2 million in direct spending to Fort Wayne.
This is first-time ever BCCA has held its annual event in the Summit City.
