Allen County Code Available on County’s Website
(July 31, 2013) — Is “open burning” permitted in unincorporated Allen County? What are the various permit fees for food establishments operating in the county? The answers to these and other questions involving the Allen County Code can now be found by anyone on the County’s website.
Free access to an online version of the Allen County Code is available by going to www.allencounty.us/countycode. A link to the site can also be found under the Featured Sites column on the County website’s homepage. Each title of the code is displayed individually and can be searched by keyword.
For the past four years, the Board of Commissioners has partnered with the IPFW Walter E. Helmke Library to provide online access to the County Code. Chris Cloud, Executive Assistant to the Commissioners, said maintaining the code on the County’s website will allow revisions to be made in a more timely fashion.
