Mad Ants Open Search for Ball Kids

(July 23, 2013) – The Fort Wayne Mad Ants have opened up the search for ball kids for the 2013-14 season. To qualify, students must be 10-18 years old.

Mad Ants ball kids are responsible for distributing water, towels and warm-ups during timeouts to both home and visiting teams, mopping the court, and rebounding for players before the game and during halftime.

To keep the professional atmosphere of the ball kid program, applicants must be able to attend all games that are assigned to him or her, must be able to refrain from asking for autographs, chit-chatting with, or horsing around with the athletes while working, and must be able to arrive no later than an hour and a half before tip-off and stay through the end of the game.

If chosen, ball kids will receive two complimentary season tickets, official Mad Ants Ball Kid apparel, picture posted on Mad Ants website, and the closest seats possible to enjoy Mad Ants basketball games!
