‘Your Story Made Here’ campaign wins national marketing awards

‘Your Story Made Here’ Campaign Wins National Marketing Awards

(May 28, 2013) – The Northeast Indiana Regional Partnership’s ‘Your Story Made Here’ campaign has recently received national recognition for marketing excellence. Your Story Made Here is part of the Partnership’s ‘MadeHere’ communications campaign.

Made Here is a strategic marketing initiative designed to help achieve the mission of Vision 2020: to develop, attract and retain talent in Northeast Indiana.

At the 19th annual Communicator Awards, a leading international awards program judged by the International Academy of the Visual Arts, the Your Story Made Here website received an Award of Excellence, while the TV campaign and online video campaign each received Awards of Distinction.

In the 33rd annual Telly Awards, Your Story Made Here’sTV campaign was recognized in the Not-for-Profit category with a Bronze Telly. The 33rd Annual Telly Awards received over 12,000 entries from all 50 states and 5 continents.

Courtney Tritch, marketing director for the Partnership, said, “Your Story Made Here was designed to help businesses attract and retain talent, but also to grow pride in Northeast Indiana. All of the participants in the campaign were Northeast Indiana residents telling their real life stories of what it’s like to be “made here.” The fact that these stories are garnering national attention should give everyone living in Northeast Indiana a reason to be proud.”

The campaign was created with One Lucky Guitar, Inc.(OLG), a Fort Wayne, Indiana-based design & marketing boutique. OLG worked with Columbia City, Indiana’s Red Tide Productions on video production. OLG’s Matt Kelley remarked, “We were honored to serve as the Partnership’s trusted partner on this campaign. It felt like we’d worked our entire careers to earn the opportunity to help craft the region’s story. We took it very seriously and are tremendously proud of the campaign and its results-not just with awards, but in the way it has struck a chord with the community and been an effective recruitment tool for regional businesses.”

Earlier this year, the Your Story Made Here campaign was awarded two Gold ADDYs (website, online video campaign) and a Silver ADDY (TV campaign) at the 2013 ADDY Awards, presented by the American Advertising Federation of Fort Wayne.
