“Zoo Brew & Wine Too” presented by Chase at the Fort Wayne Children’s Zoo

(May 21, 2013) – The Fort Wayne Children’s Zoo will host Zoo Brew & Wine Too presented by Chase, a new adults-only, after-hours fundraising event, on Friday, August 23 from 6-9 PM.

This all-new event will feature craft beers, wines, and local food from more than 60 vendors. Tickets include unlimited sampling of foods from more than 25 restaurants and unlimited sampling of dozens of beverages, including beer, wine, and hard cider. Live music by the Todd Harrold Band, James & the Drifters, and Ivory West will be featured on three stages. Zoo animals and exhibits will provide a unique backdrop for the event. Each attendee will receive a souvenir pilsner glass.

“Chase is thrilled to provide continued support of our outstanding Children’s Zoo, and to partner with so many great local food and beverage suppliers for this new event – the combination will make for a great evening!” said Jim Cook, Chase Market President.

“Because the zoo is a self-supporting facility, Zoo Brew & Wine Too is an important fundraising tool for us,” says Zoo Director Jim Anderson. “We are grateful to Chase for signing on as our Presenting Sponsor.”

Tickets for Zoo Brew & Wine Too presented by Chase cost $40 in advance and $50 at the door. Designated Driver tickets cost $25 in advance and $30 at the door. Designated Drivers will wear a special wristband and will not receive any alcoholic beverages at the event. Attendees (including Designated Drivers) must be ages 21 and older. All attendees will be carded at the gate. Only 1,500 tickets will be sold for the event.
