Indiana Milk Quality Professionals to Hold Two-Day Conference in Fort Wayne

(April 6, 2013) – From April 9-10, the Indiana Milk Quality Professionals, Inc. will host the 2013 Indiana Milk Quality Conference at Don Hall’s Guesthouse in Fort Wayne.

Approximately 250 Indiana diary enthusiasts will attend the two-day conference, which will feature several networking opportunities and educational speeches given by representatives from Indiana’s diary industry.

Representatives from the Food and Drug Administration, Prairie Farms Dairy, Inc., Indiana Farm Bureau, Purdue University, Indiana State University, and Indiana Dairy Producers are expected to attend and share crucial industry information.

This year’s conference will cover a handful of important and informational topics, including state and federal inspections, farm succession, milk quality and dairy performance, technology and today’s producer, dairy farm security, and US Customs and Border Protection.

On April 9, Mark Walpole from the Indianapolis Colts will serve as the keynote speaker at the awards banquet. Walpole’s “Fuel Up to Play 60” presentation begins at 6:30 p.m.

The Indiana Milk Quality Conference is open for registration to anyone interested in the dairy industry of Indiana, including citizens from Fort Wayne and surrounding communities.
