…WINTRY MIX OF PRECIPITATION THURSDAY NIGHT INTO FRIDAY MORNING…

A BAND OF MODERATE SNOW IS FORECAST TO LIFT NORTHEAST THROUGH THE AREA LATE THURSDAY EVENING INTO FRIDAY MORNING. A QUICK 1 TO 3 INCHES OF SNOW ACCUMULATION IS EXPECTED. AREAS OF FREEZING DRIZZLE WILL BE POSSIBLE AFTER THE SNOW ENDS FRIDAY MORNING WITH MINOR ICE ACCRETIONS POSSIBLE. TEMPERATURES ARE FORECAST TO RISE ABOVE FREEZING BY LATE MORNING.

TRAVEL MAY BECOME DIFFICULT FRIDAY MORNING DUE TO THE ACCUMULATING SNOW AND ICE. STAY TUNED TO NOAA ALL HAZARDS RADIO…THE LOCAL MEDIA…AND WEATHER.GOV/IWX FOR LATER UPDATES.
