Mad Ants Announce Returners and Training Camp Invitees

(November 2, 2012) – The Fort Wayne Mad Ants announced today that seven players have been invited to attend their 2012-13 training camp.

Returning players from last season include Ron Howard, Jarrid Famous, Sadiel Rojas, Walker Russell Jr., and Sean Sonderleiter. Mike Anderson and Tommy Smith were both acquired through trades with the Santa Cruz Warriors.

The remaining 10 spots on the training camp roster will be filled tonight during the 2012 NBA Development League Draft. The Ants have the first pick of the draft, which will begin at 7:00pm. Coverage of the draft will be updated live on the NBA D-League’s website, and fans can stay updated by following the Mad Ants on Twitter and Facebook.

The Mad Ants will tip-off their 2012-13 season against the Erie Bayhawks on Friday, November 23rd at 7:30pm at the Memorial Coliseum. Season tickets for the 2012-2013 season are on sale now and start at just $99! For ticket information call 260-469-4667.
