Council will hold public hearing on redistricting
The Fort Wayne City Council will hold a courtesy public hearing on Tuesday, May 22, 2012 at 5:30 pm in Council Chambers at Citizen Square, 200 East Berry St.
The purpose of the public hearing is to receive comment from citizens regarding two proposed Redistricting maps.
Following the public hearing, all input from residents will be compiled and given to the Redistricting Task Force. Comments and suggestions will be considered and a final map will be recommended to the board for consideration.
The Council Chambers are on the lower level of Citizen Square. Free parking is available in the lot on the north side of the building. The proposed maps are accessible on the city’s website https://www.cityoffortwayne.org/city-council/178-redistricting-.html
