Daniels Endorses Bonahoom for Fort Wayne City Clerk
Applauds Bonahoom’s focus on efficiencies, fresh ideas and cost-saving technologies

Governor Mitch Daniels, whose work to reform and reshape state and local government in Indiana has earned him national renown as a fiscally disciplined leader and innovator, has endorsed Zach Bonahoom for Fort Wayne City Clerk.

“I support Zach Bonahoom for city clerk because he will be able to find efficiencies, bring fresh ideas to the table and implement cost saving technologies to help his fellow taxpayers,” Daniels said. “It’s time to move Fort Wayne forward and Zach Bonahoom can do that with your help.”

Bonahoom said that attracting the Governor’s endorsement to the clerk’s race was indicative of the importance of making sure that government is maximizing results at every level.

“Everywhere you look, government offices face the need to do more with less,” Bonahoom said. “As its financial resources have gotten smaller, the need for government to serve taxpayers has grown beyond the abilities of the current city clerk. Governor Daniels’ support indicates how important it is that we see fresh, positive, no excuses leadership ushered into the City Clerk’s office.”
