Next Monday, a long anticipated facility takes a step closer to realization in downtown Fort Wayne.
At 10:00 am next Monday, August 29, 2011, a groundbreaking will be held for the new Citilink Transit Center at the Baker Street Train Station (221 W. Baker Street). The project will cost between $3.5 and 4.5 million and include a waiting room, office, information center, driver’s room, public restrooms and two bus platforms capable of accommodating up to eighteen (18) buses.
The ceremony is open to the public.
