Bonahoom introduces Digital Tool Kit and Paperless initiative
Clerk Candidate believes technology has been ignored for too long

(6/20/11) – Candidate for Fort Wayne City Clerk, Zach Bonahoom released his Digital Tool Kit and Paperless initiative plan today.

“As City Clerk I intend to push the office toward a less expensive, more efficient, and customer friendly, paperless model of operation.” Bonahoom said.

Bonahoom believes the mountains of paperwork distributed each week to Council members should be accessible to everyone via www.FortWayneCityClerk.com, entirely paperless. This will save the City thousands of dollars each year in material, production and personnel cost as well as thousands of sheets of paper.

Bonahoom continued saying, “Sandy Kennedy touts her efficiency but has failed for the last decade to eliminate paper and embrace a digital world like other government entities and private businesses have.”

Bonahoom’s plan includes 4 parts:
[li]Replacing bundles of paper with digital technology[/li]
[li]Touch Screen Technology at the Council Table[/li]
[li]Touch Screen Voting[/li]
[li]Opening Council Business to Everyone[/li]
Each aspect is further outlined and defined at www.ZachforClerk.com.
