Enjoy WorldFest at IPFW

(March 21, 2011) – Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne’s (IPFW’s) Office of International Education (OIE) is sponsoring its
inaugural WorldFest, Tuesday and Wednesday, April 5 and 6, on the IPFW campus. The events are free and open to the public.

The first event, an African dance class, will be held Tuesday, April 5, from 7 to 8 p.m., in Walb Student Union, Rooms 222-224. IPFW’s
African Student Association is co-sponsoring the class.

Wednesday, April 6, gives you “A Taste of the Mediterranean,” in a cooking and tasting session which begins at noon in Walb Student Union, Room G-08. It is co-sponsored by the Office of Diversity and Multicultural Affairs.

Also on Wednesday, if your taste is more Gallic, check out the French Poetry Recitation and Contest from 6 to 8 p.m. in Walb Student Union,
Rooms 222-226. The Department of International Languages and Culture Studies is the event’s co-sponsor.
