Breaking: SOS Charlie White indicted on charges of voter fraud – UPDATE

Several media outlets in Indianapolis are reporting that Indiana Secretary of State Charlie White has been indicted on charges of voter fraud.

UPDATE from The Indianpolis Star:

Secretary of State Charlie White faces seven felony counts:

>> three counts of voter fraud involving his voter registration from an address where he no longer lived.
>> two perjury counts
>> one theft count relating to his collecting a salary as a Fishers Town Council member while not living in his designated district.
>> one fraud count on a financial institution relating to his mortgage application.

Fox59 News has learned Indiana Secretary of State Charlie White (R) has been indicted by a grand jury on charges of voter fraud.

(Noblesville, Ind.) – Fox59 News has learned Indiana Secretary of State Charlie White (R) has been indicted by a grand jury on charges of voter fraud.

Two sources close to the case are confirming the indictment. White is reportedly at the Hamilton County Jail.

White has been accused of voting in the wrong precinct during the May 2010 primary, using his ex-wife’s address to vote. White maintains he was the victim of an innocent mistake.
