City Clerk Kennedy faces two opponents

Another Democrat has filed for the City Clerk’s race in the May Primary.

Thomas A. Schrader filed today to run against City Clerk Sandy Kennedy.  Schrader’s name has appeared on the ballot a couple of times.

He challenged Democrat Tom Hayhurst when he ran for the 3rd District Congressional last year.  Schrader garnered 768 votes or 13.31%.

Schrader also ran in the 2006 Primary Election against three other Democrats and ended with 458 vote for 5.44%.

Clerk Kennedy will probably win the primary without breaking a sweat.  She will then go on to face Republican Zach Bonahoom in the November General Election – or at least that’s how it stands right now.
