Stutzman Votes to End Obamacare

(Washington, DC) – Tonight, Congressman Stutzman voted for H.R. 2 which passed 245 to 189. In a bipartisan effort, the first step to end the job-killing Obamacare System was taken.

“In November, Americans voted to start fresh and fix the actual problems in the health care system,” stated Stutzman, “the people have asked for an honest effort to fix health care for all Americans and keep the government out.” “The vote tonight was not symbolic, it is important to allow Congress the opportunity to fix the problems with health care and to not harm the economy.”

It is time for real Health Care Reform by dealing with the actual problems not just the symptoms. Congressman Stutzman has Co-Sponsored H.R. 103 the Health Care Choice Act, to place the people in control of their health care decisions and provide better options.

Congressman Stutzman represents the 3rd Congressional District of Indiana. The 3rd District contains all of DeKalb, Kosciusko, Lagrange, Noble, Steuben, and Whitley counties; as well as parts of Allen and Elkhart counties.
