The Fort Wayne Redevelopment Commission meets Tuesday.
The agenda for the Regular Session may be downloaded here and the Executive Session agenda here.
They will first meet in closed Executive Session which will be followed by their regular open to the public meeting at 4 pm. Â The meeting will be in the County Commissioners Courtroom on the 2nd floor of the City County Building.
There are two items on the regular agenda. Â The first is:
Resolution 2010-32 – Ratifying and approving an expenditure for parking control signage for the Harrison Square parking garage
The second is a discussion on Harrison Square. Â The Executive Session agenda has the following item listed:
Initiation of litigation or litigation that is either pending or has been threatened specifically in writing, as defined in Indiana Code 5-14-1.5-6.1 (b)(2)(B).
As you may remember, the notice the City sent to Barry Real Estate and Hardball Capital over their failure to begin construction on The Harrison retail/condo development at Harrison Square, expires on Wednesday, December 29th. Â The discussion will center around the next action to be taken by the Redevelopment Commission. Â Probably most of the real discussion over what to do will take place during the Executive Session.
