Asher Agency named SUBWAY® Media Team of the Year

(September 16, 2010) – Asher Agency, a full-service advertising, marketing and public relations agency headquartered in Fort Wayne, earned top honors at the recently completed agency summit for SUBWAY® Restaurants.

The event, held September 13-15 in Atlanta, brings together all agencies currently serving markets operating in the SUBWAY system in North America. At the event, Asher Agency was named 2010 Media Team of the Year in recognition of its media-buying and -strategy efforts on behalf of the 17 SUBWAY markets it serves nationwide.

In addition, Asher shared a Teamwork Award with two other agencies – New York City-based Source and Durham, North Carolina-based MarketSmart – in recognition for a Customer Appreciation Day event it helped develop and promote throughout the northeastern U.S. Jill Brown, media director, and Kara Wasson, account supervisor, accepted the awards on Asher Agency’s behalf.
