Volunteers Needed for Fort Wayne Parks Amazing Race
(September 15, 2010) – Join in the excitement as a volunteer for Fort Wayne Parks Amazing Race 2 – Adult teams of four will tackle challenges and solve clues all over the city. The Race is Saturday, October 2, 9am – 3pm, starting and ending from Shoaff Park Riverlodge, 6401 St. Joe Road.
The Fort Wayne Parks Amazing Race Chair, Patti Davis, needs 35 volunteers to help with the race the day of the event during the hours of 8:30am – Noon, Noon – 3:30pm, or for an all-day shift. Tasks will include setting up the materials for challenges and validating challenge times as they are completed by the forty teams registered for the event.
Volunteers will meet the evening before to receive t-shirts, goodie bags and materials for the challenges. They are also invited to the victory party for food and door prizes following the race.
