Artie Award Nomination Deadline Extended
(August 23, 2010) – Know someone who makes a difference for arts or culture organizations in the greater Fort Wayne region? Arts United is pleased to offer the 2010 Artie Awards in celebration of outstanding artists, arts educators, arts advocates, non-profit and corporate businesses making significant contributions to the arts and cultural community in northeast Indiana. The deadline for nominations for Artie Awards has been extended to August 27.
Arts United’s annual awards highlight arts supporters and cultural preservation efforts in the greater Fort Wayne 10-county region which includes: Allen, DeKalb, Huntington, LaGrange, Miami, Noble, Steuben, Wabash, Wells and Whitley counties.
The award categories will include:
- Outstanding Arts Educator (Margaret Ann Keegan Award)
- Outstanding Artist of the Year
- Outstanding Arts Volunteer of the Year
- Outstanding Arts Corporate Supporter
- Outstanding Arts Advocate and the
- Lifetime Achievement Award
Awards will be given at the Bravo Brunch, Friday, October 1, at the Arts United Center. The Bravo Brunch is open to the public. For more information as well as a nomination form, please visit www.artsunited.org. All nomination forms must be received by Friday, August 27, 2010.
