BuskerFest brings street fair excitement to downtown Fort Wayne
Now with two stages of jaw-dropping performances
(August 2, 2010) – Celebrating its second year of family friendly performances, Buskerfest promises to be a dazzling day of live street entertainment. On August 7, from 2 – 10 pm a myriad of local and regional Buskers will take to One Summit Square on the corner of Wayne and Calhoun streets in Downtown Fort Wayne. Buskers are street performers who entertain and delight crowds for voluntary donations. This year, audiences will be treated to a wide variety of street theatre including fire dancing, aerial acrobatics, living statue, live music, miming, juggling, comedy and more.

Buskers will also roam the square entertaining crowds. Your voluntary donations are encouraged and greatly appreciated!!!
Take the kids to the Science Central Fun Spot for live science demonstrations, face painting, balloon art and a variety of kid-centric entertainment. The over – 21 crowd can watch the talent from a beer garden provided by J.K. O’Donnell’s. Food and other refreshments will be available on site and at nearby downtown restaurants. The continuing generosity of DID sponsors and festival guests ensures that BuskerFest will be an unforgettable day! Buskerfest is presented by Comcast.
