Three Rivers Festival – Sunday, 7/17/2010

The 2010 Fort Wayne Newspapers Three Rivers Festival concludes today.

Partial list of events:

  • Boat & Kayak Races at Shoaff Park from 9 am to 4 pm.  More information.
  • Children’s Fest at IPFW on the IPFW Main Campsu from 10 am to 4 pm.
  • DeBrand Gelato Sampling at their Coldwater Shoppe at 5608 Coldwater Road from noon to 8 pm.  More information.
  • Hoosier Hisser’s Cat Show at the Coliseum Bingo Hall on Washington Ctr. Road from 9 am to 3 pm.
  • Trinity Music Fest at Parkview Field.  Gates open at 10:45 am and the music ends after the fireworks.  More information.

And of course, the Fireworks Finale presented by National Serv-All at 10 pm, fired from the Summit Square building.

Enjoy three artists under the Lincoln Financial Pavilion in Headwaters Park in the Acoustic Lineup:

  • Noon – Lee Miles
  • 1:00 pm – Bill Certain
  • 2:00 pm – Ivory West

The TRF Concert Series on the Sweetwater Stage under the Lincoln Financial Pavilion in Headwaters Park East:

  • David Todoran & The Mobile Home Wreckers
  • G-Money & The Fabulous Rhythm Brother
  • Fireworks
  • Brother Encore

Admission for tonight’s concert is $5 and the gates open at 6 pm.

  1. Hi Jack Hammer. You did a great job of organizing and keeping the TRF going. Thank you. I love Fort Wayne. Hey, you made some nice adjustments too, like doing the fireworks on Saturday while things were still going on downtown. Nice! I just have a request. I noticed now that we have a IPFW River Fest, and boat rides back on the river as part of TRF, couldn’t we PLEASE look into having a Raft Race or some type of water race to reflect the fact we are on the three rivers. That would be especially applicable since our festival is called “Three Rivers Festival”. They used to sign releases. Can you just look into it, please? Very nice festival!
