Press release from the TinCaps:
Parkview Field Excited to Welcome Zac Brown Band in Concert July 7th
Parkview Field staff anticipates Zac Brown Band to draw largest concert crowd in ballpark’s history
Parkview Field has been the site of a multitude of exciting and groundbreaking events since it opened its gates in April of 2009. The Zac Brown Band concert, taking place Wednesday, July 7th, will be yet unique experience to add to the list.
“It’s perfect timing,” said Mike Nutter, Fort Wayne TinCaps President. “We are fortunate to have the opportunity to welcome a high-energy performer like Zac Brown to Parkview Field as his career and popularity are sky-rocketing. This is a concert that might not have been possible if we hadn’t worked quickly with the band’s management team and JAM Promotions to secure the band for our venue.”
Zac Brown Band and the Breaking Southern Ground Tour comes to Fort Wayne for what will surely be a jam-packed night of entertainment. “The Zac Brown Band doesn’t open their shows like your typical concert,” stated Nutter. “They come right out and start rocking. Any additional performers won’t fill the normal opening act spot, but will play a song or two throughout the evening. It’s just one more reason to get to Parkview Field early on Wednesday night.”
Another reason to arrive before the scheduled 7:00pm (EST) start time will be the concerts General Admission seating. The South Gate to Parkview Field, the only entrance for the concert, will open at 5:30pm (EST) for all ticket holders. Those holding tickets designated as “early admission” will be
allowed to enter at 5:00pm (EST). Seating will be available throughout Parkview Field’s main seating bowl as well as designated areas on the field, right up close to the concert stage.
