“We wanted to make sure we took care of our great fans,” said TinCaps President, Mike Nutter. “There’s a reason why Fort Wayne always ranks at the top of the best Minor League cities in the country. Capping off the evening will be the Midwest League Home Run Derby featuring eight of the top power hitters in the league as well as a local high school qualifier, Garrett High School senior Spencer Burns, who was the winner of the Hometown Hitter contest. The evening will end with a spectacular fireworks show.
