Spencer Burns, a Garrett High School Senior, won the final round of the Hometown Hitter competition at Parkview Field last Wednesday.
He will face eight of the top power hitters in the Midwest League in the Midwest League Home Run Derby contest tonight at Parkview Field.
After he won the initial round of the competition on May 16, 2010, we spoke briefly with him about this experience at Parkview Field.
