Enter to win a FREE Vera Bradley Bag!
(June 1, 2010) — This Thursday, June 3 those who attend Lunch on the Square and donate to the Vera Bradley Foundation for Breast Cancer will be entered to win a FREE Vera Bradley bag!
The drawing at the opening of the Downtown Improvement District (DID) event series is a part of the foundation’s Turn the Town Pink campaign. The money raised goes directly to funding research at the Vera Bradley Center for Breast Cancer Research Laboratories at Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis.
The DID Lunch on the Square concert series takes place every Thursday in June and July from 11:30 am- 1:00pm. Each year the event takes over the courtyard at One Summit Square (on the corner of Wayne and Calhoun Streets) with free live music so that people can enjoy the lunch hour outside in the summer weather.
This year the event has been expanded to a 9 week concert series throughout the months of June and July. Attendees can either pack their own lunches or visit a downtown restaurant to purchase a boxed lunch to bring to the event.
