Toronto, OH-based Lamplight Communities, LLC to Acquire Fort Wayne Hotel and Convention Center scheduled to close April 30, 2010
Lamplight Communities begin operations of the Fort Wayne facility June 1, 2010
(April 10, 2010) Lamplight Inn of Fort Wayne, currently operating as the Fort Wayne Hotel and Convention Center, will be a 170+ unit senior housing community and result in the creation of additional jobs in the local area. Lamplight Inn of Fort Wayne will open as an Assisted and Independent senior living community and will accept Assisted Living residents by Summer 2010. Completion of the project will qualify the building with assisted living. Interested applicants should apply on-line.
Lamplight Inn intends to apply to become an Assisted Living Waiver provider under the Indiana Passport program. Lamplight Inn will also dedicate approximately 40 beds for independent seniors through the Residential Care Assistance Program (RCAP) program.
