Parkview Heart Institute names COO
Parkview Hospital has announced that Chad Carpenter has been hired as chief operating officer for the Parkview Heart Institute.
Carpenter has more than 25 years of health care experience. Carpenter previously served as CEO for BridgeCare, LLC and was president and CEO of Dayton Heart Hospital in Ohio. He earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Columbia Pacific University and has a graduate certificate in corporate governance from Tulane University Law School.
“We are pleased to have a proven leader join our team to assist us in our commitment to providing excellent cardiovascular care,” said Sue Ehinger, chief operating officer, Parkview Hospital. “With Chad’s leadership and experience, we look forward to enhancing services and implementing programs aimed at patient-centered care.”

In August 2009, Parkview was presented with the American Heart Association’s Get With The Guidelines-Coronary Artery Disease (GWTG-CAD) Gold Performance Achievement Award. The award recognizes Parkview’s commitment and success in implementing a higher standard of heart care that effectively improves treatment of patients hospitalized with coronary artery disease.
Carpenter began his duties with Parkview on February 1.
