…ACCUMULATING SNOW TO AFFECT THE AREA ON FRIDAY AND FRIDAY NIGHT…
.AN UPPER LEVEL DISTURBANCE MOVING OUT OF THE CENTRAL PLAINS WILL COMBINE WITH A LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM MOVING ALONG THE GULF COAST AND SPREAD ACCUMULATING SNOW OVER THE AREA TODAY INTO EARLY SATURDAY. SNOW ACCUMULATIONS OF 5 TO 7 INCHES ARE EXPECTED BY MID DAY SATURDAY FROM MARION TO DECATUR IN INDIANA AND VAN WERT TO LIMA IN OHIO. LESSER AMOUNTS ARE EXPECTED FARTHER NORTH OF THIS AREA. IN ADDITION TO THE SNOWFALL…NORTHEAST WINDS WILL INCREASE TO 15 TO 25 MPH BY THIS EVENING RESULTING IN BLOWING AND DRIFTING SNOW.

* TIMING…SNOW WILL BEGIN THIS MORNING AND CONTINUE THROUGH EARLY SATURDAY.
* MAIN IMPACT…SNOW ACCUMULATIONS OF 3 TO 5 INCHES ARE EXPECTED…WITH THE HEAVIEST SNOWFALL EXPECTED TONIGHT.
* OTHER IMPACTS…NORTHEAST WINDS WILL INCREASE TO 15 TO 25 MPH BY THIS EVENING CAUSING BLOWING AND DRIFTING SNOW.
