Water Line Repair
This afternoon City Utilities crews closed two valves on a 30-inch water main feeder near Lakeside Park. The valves are being closed so that repairs can be made to a leak on a two-inch line that runs under the park.
The 30-inch line is a major water distribution line for north east Fort Wayne. Crews will bypass the area to supply adequate water pressure to north east Fort Wayne and most customers will not see a change. Customers near Lakeside Park may notice a reduction in water pressure.
At this point it is not known how long the repair will take.
