.LOW PRESSURE OVER NORTHERN ILLINOIS WILL MOVE EAST TO NORTHERN OHIO BY LATE THIS EVENING. THE LOW WILL CAUSE SNOW ACROSS THE AREA TODAY WITH ACCUMULATIONS OF 2 TO 4 INCHES EXPECTED. HEAVIEST ACCUMULATIONS TODAY SHOULD BE SOUTH OF A MONTICELLO INDIANA TO LIMA OHIO LINE. AS THE LOW MOVES EAST OF THE AREA TONIGHT… WEST WINDS WILL INCREASE… CAUSING BLOWING AND DRIFTING SNOW. SNOW SHOWERS WILL LIKELY CONTINUE TONIGHT… ESPECIALLY DOWNWIND OF LAKE MICHIGAN… MAINLY NORTH OF INTERSTATE 80 WHERE 1 TO 2 INCHES OF ADDITIONAL ACCUMULATION IS POSSIBLE.

THE SNOW WILL TAPER OFF FROM WEST TO EAST ACROSS THE AREA THIS EVENING… HOWEVER SNOW SHOWERS WILL LIKELY CONTINUE OVERNIGHT… MAINLY NORTH OF INTERSTATE 80. WEST WINDS WILL INCREASE ACROSS THE AREA THIS EVENING… CAUSING BLOWING AND DRIFTING SNOW.

* MAIN IMPACT…TRAVEL WILL BE HAZARDOUS DUE TO SNOW COVERED AND
SLICK ROADS.
