County Offices Closed Nov. 11 for Veterans Day

(November 6, 2009) — Due to the Veterans Day holiday, all Allen County offices will be closed on Wednesday, November 11. County offices will reopen for business on Thursday, November 12.

City offices closed Wednesday for Veterans Day Holiday
Garbage, recycling pick-up unaffected

In observance of the Veterans Day holiday, City of Fort Wayne offices, including City Utilities, Animal Care & Control, Community Center and the Weisser, Cooper and Jennings youth centers, will be closed Wednesday, Nov. 11. Because of the holiday, there will be no leaf pick-up that day.

The City will have regular business hours Tuesday and Thursday.

The City’s garbage and recycling pick-up will be unaffected by this holiday. The Botanical Conservatory and City golf courses will be open regular hours Wednesday.
