Smith resumes call-in show
Fort Wayne City Councilman Tom Smith, R-1st will resume his monthly “Council Call-in” program after a one month hiatus. The show will air live Wednesday, November 4, 2009 at 7:00 pm on Comcast cable channel 58 and Verizon FIOS channel 28.
Mr. Smith’s guest will be his colleague on City Council, Tom Didier, R-3rd.
The two gentlemen will discuss issues relevant to city taxpayers and ratepayers such as the 2010 budget recently passed by their legislative body, 911 Communications consolidation, the purchase of 200 East Berry with the possible co-location of city-county offices, the recent agreement to extend the city’s garbage contract and other issues that may arise during the conversation.
Viewers wishing to ask a question of the councilors may do so by calling 422.8708 during the live, one-hour show.
I’ve learned that Councilman Mitch Harper’s show will feature Geoff Paddock.
