Extreme Makeover: Home Edition and Hallmark Homes Joint Blood Drive Results
Give Blood In Honor of the Cowan-Brown Family
On Tuesday, Oct. 27, Extreme Makeover: Home Edition and Hallmark Homes will host its final joint blood drive in honor of the Cowan-Brown family. The blood drive will take place at Indiana University Kokomo in the Kelley Student Center from 12 noon until 6 p.m., located at 2300 S. Washington in Kokomo. All presenting donors at this blood drive will receive a commemorative t-shirt and a coupon good for one free Mike’s carwash while supplies last. Plus, all presenting donors will have the opportunity to enter a drawing for a $50 gasoline gift card.
The American Red Cross teamed up with Indiana’s Extreme Makeover Home Builder Hallmark Homes at Grissom Air Force Base on Sunday, Oct. 25, to host a blood drive in honor of the deserving family. During the blood drive 215 pints of blood were collected, which may help save the lives of up to 645 people!
“It’s incredible when thousands of people come together for something bigger than themselves,” said Derek Wilder, the CEO of Hallmark Homes. “Helping others in so many different ways not only changes their lives but our lives as well.”
