¡¡VIVA FORT WAYNE FIESTA!! is coming soon!
Time to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month, and the diversity and spirit of the Latino community of Fort Wayne “Latin Themed Family Entertainment Saturday, September 19, 2009.”
Grab the kids and root for the fastest pooch in the Fort Wayne Area! For the first time ever Fort Wayne
(Headwaters Park) will host a Chihuahua dog race, and a Jalapeño eating contest.¡¡Viva Fort Wayne Fiesta!! will be Saturday, September 19th, from 10:00 AM – 11:30 PM. The program will include: food, piñatas, payasos (clowns), live music, games, face painting, folkloric dancers and of course lots of information!

The Andino dancers from Ecuador, and Ballet Amaneceres de México will dazzle you with an ethnic dancing program.Enjoy mouth watering Mexican and Latino-American foods and refreshing drinks. Kids will have a blast at the children’s play area with piñatasclowns and games.
To celebrate ¡¡Viva Fort Wayne Fiesta!! We are inviting your business/organization to join us for a day full of fun, music, competition and information. The plan is to bring muchas (many) social service agencies, churches, and businesses to display their information, talk to people, and provide ideas and resources for families. So many times people don’t seek help because they don’t know where to go. No one should be without help when help is out there to support all citizens in Fort Wayne, especially those less fortunate folks. Help us put the information in the right hands.
¡¡Viva Fort Wayne Fiesta!! will be hosted at the beatiful, Headwaters Park East Pavilion in downtown Fort Wayne. Admission for the event is free for kids 10 and under!! Adults pay a donation of only $5.00 after 5:00 p.m. Let’s have a great day of fun, Chihuahua race, Jalapeño eating contest, games, latin-american food,
dancers, live music and of course lots and lots of information-sharing!!! All proceeds (100%) from ¡¡Viva Fort Wayne Fiesta!! will go to benefit Jorge Gonzales. Jorge is a 16 year old boy in desperate need of a kidney transplant.For additional information please call Ron Latham 260.417.2263
