President Obama was asked specifically why his administration had not released a list of health field officials that had visited the White House to talk about healthcare reform. Â He responded that the press had been in on most of the sessions with their photographers, so it really isn’t a secret.
Well, unless they all had huge nametags on, or some other means of identifying each and every person, it might have been “in the open”, but what good does it do unless a photographer/reporter is all knowing and able to identify each person and their represented organization?
It bothers me when our government says something is in the open or plain view and yet it isn’t so obvious to the average citizen. Â I don’t know of many who would be on a first name basis with the mentioned individuals.
