City accepting applications for Public Information Director
Looking for applicants with media relations experience, strategic-thinking skillsThe City of Fort Wayne has posted the Mayor’s public information director position. The City’s Human Resources Department will accept applications through July 2.
Qualified applicants must have experience in media relations, strategic thinking, outstanding written and verbal communications plus excellent interpersonal skills.
“The public information director is a critical position within my administration,” said Mayor Tom Henry. “This is a demanding yet rewarding job so I am looking for a good fit with my vision for our City. I look forward to having a diverse pool of candidates from which to select.”
Interested people can apply online at www.cityoffortwayne.org by visiting the Mayor’s Office and then clicking on Human Resources. Applications will also be accepted in person at the Human Resources Department on the 3rd floor of the City-County Building during regular business hours.
