Jack & Johnny’s, at the corner of High and Wells Street, closed recently.
A sign in the window indicates they closed for “personal reasons”.  Rumor had it they were going to close the end of the year, but chose to close now.  Don Chava’s Mexican Grill now owns the building.

I am saddened that we lost a great restaurant/bar that had been on the Wells Corridor for many years.
I wish the owner and employees all of the best and hope that we are able to attract another good neighborhood establishment to the property which is historic and has a great urban feel.
Thanks for your years of service to our neighborhood! I will miss you!
