The Board of Zoning Appeal met tonight. One of the matters before the BZA was the Charis House issue. The Board was to decide whether or not to overturn an earlier ruling by a Hearing Officer allowing a residential project to be built in an IN2 zone.
The BZA ruled in favor of allowing the earlier determination to stand. The matter will now be back before the Plan Commission for final approval on the site development plan in their June meeting.
Sorry to be misinformed, but what does this mean for the Charis House, or what are they planning for the future?
This upheld the ruling that their residential facility could be built in an IN2 zoned area. They go back before the Plan Commission next month for a vote on their development plan.
