Kevin Leininger of The News-Sentinel is reporting that Allen County Building Commissioner Dave Fuller has stated representatives of Shiel Sexton told him they hope to begin construction by May 25th. Â More after the jump.

[…]Â Allen County Building Commissioner Dave Fuller said on Thursday representatives of Indianapolis contractor Shiel Sexton told him this week they hope to begin construction of the 250-room hotel by May 25. White Lodging Services of Merrillville was supposed to have broken ground by Nov. 1 on the hotel, which is part of the $125 million Harrison Square project.
[…]Â But Greg Leatherman, the city’s deputy [sic] director of redevelopment, said financing appears to “be a done deal” and said an official groundbreaking could be scheduled for June after a meeting in Fort Wayne next week with White Lodging officials.
[…]Â Progress on Harrison Square’s proposed residential and commercial building remains more elusive, Leatherman said.
