First Ever Post-Game Concert at Parkview Field this Sunday
TinCaps team up with remedy.fm to bring Christian artists KJ-52 and Red Umbrella to the centerfield stage at Parkview Field

The Fort Wayne TinCaps and Parkview Field will host its first concert on the centerfield concourse stage this Sunday, May 3rd. Christian hip hop artist KJ-52 will headline the concert this Sunday, which is the first of the “Flava” summer post-game concert series put on by remedy.fm and the Box Score.

“We are thrilled to be able to partner with remedy.fm to bring great performers to Parkview Field this summer,” said TinCaps Vice President of Marketing, Michael Limmer. “The TinCaps pride ourselves on being able to bring a wide variety of entertainment to a diverse audience. The ‘Flava’ concert series with remedy.fm will provide a positive Christian message with a hip hop and rock feel. It’s great music with a great message. Best of all, you get the game and the concert included with your ticket.”

The TinCaps first pitch will be thrown this Sunday at 3:05pm EST and the concert will begin immediately following the game. Ticket price includes admission for both the game and concert. Opening for KJ-52 will be recording artists Red Umbrella.

Tickets are still available by ordering online at TinCaps.com, by calling the TinCaps at (260) 482-6400, or by visiting the TinCaps ticket office at Parkview Field. Special groups rates are also available by calling the TinCaps. Future “Flava” concert dates are the first Sunday of each month: June 7, July 5 and August 2. Artists and performers are still being finalized.

Remedy.fm went live in October 2007 with a mission to use relevant, positive music as a vehicle to connect with a generation on the internet. Their purpose was to develop relationships with teens online so we could hear what they’re going through. Then, in God’s perfect timing, we could provide a “remedy” for the struggles they face.

Artist Information:
KJ-52: Won his most recent Dove award late April 2009 in the category “Rap/Hip Hop Recorded Song.” His last album “The Yearbook” was released fall 2008. KJ-52 has sold over 500,000 albums.

Red Umbrella: A four member pop-rock band from Canada now signed to 7-Spin Records, an indie label out of Valparaiso, Indiana. Their new album “Living and Surviving” was released late 2008.
