An article in today’s Journal Gazette reports that the Allen County Building Department issued a building permit December 5th  to White Lodging.  This means construction must begin within 90 days of the issuance date, or another permit will have to be issued.  As I reported on November 19th, Sheil Sexton, Indianapolis, is the General Contractor for the project.  The article does not verify whether or not White Lodging has received a construction loan for the project. Â
The construction commencement deadline is December 31st, 2008. Â If construction doesn’t begin by next week this time, it won’t be started until after the first of the year as in my observances, most construction sites shut down the last two weeks of the year. Â While this is a step ahead, I think I can safely say that most in the community will not breathe a sigh of relief until the construction truly begins.
