Harrison Square Parking Deck Construction

Construction began last Monday on the Harrison Square Parking Deck.  The previous Friday afternoon, the first of many loads of concrete portions of the structure began arriving on trucks from Decatur.  A week later, many of the outside columns and lower level skeleton was in place.

With the parking deck and ballpark construction and to a degree The Harrison on the North side of the outfield wall, the project is becoming more visibly delineated. If you look at these next photos, the flat area in the foreground is what will eventually become a parking lot. This parking lot will be used by The Embassy Theatre to park show buses and other trucks. This was part of the Walkway agreement. The background, up the slope, is what will become the Robert E. Meyers Park.
