After the severe weather passed through the area this evening, we were treated to a rare double rainbow. This was one of the most brilliant rainbows I’ve seen in my life. This was also my first time photographing one and some valuable lessons were learned.  Not leaving my tripod in the car 10 flights down is the first lesson learned. I was tempted to run down to grab it, but you never know how long rainbows will last. But, like I said, lessons learned. The North end of the rainbows appeared to originate from the City-County Building and National City Center. They stretched over the city to the South side of town.
