Germanfest events for Wednesday, June 4, 2008:
The Germanfest Festival Tent will be open from 10:30 am to midnight
10:30 am: Children’s Story Time/Chicken Dance at the Allen County Public Library’s Main Branch
11:00 am: Germanfest Official Festival Tent Opening – tapping of the first keg followed by traditional brats, homemade sauerkraut, German Potato Salad and Kuchen for dessert.
11:00 to 8:00 pm: Play Take it Or Leave It at the Festival Tent
11:30 am: City-wide “Chicken Dance”
12:00 – 8:30 PM: Paint it German!
12:15 pm to 12:45 pm: Organ Concert at the First Wayne Street United Methodist Church
5:30 pm to 8:30 pm: Balloon Sculpting at Festival Plaza
6:00 pm to 9:00 pm: Caricature Drawings at Festival Plaza
