In today’s Redevelopment Commission meeting, Greg Leatherman, Executive Director of the Commission, stated that 9 of the 62 units have been officially sold with the deals being closed.  He also stated that 2 restaurants have signed Letters of Intent to lease space in the ground floor of the building.  They will lease 50% of the available space.  Leatherman cited getting people together in the order they signed up for the units as the source of problems for closing on the units.  He also stated that while some of those initially placing a $1,000 deposit on units have withdrawn their funds, more have signed up and there is a waiting list.
