A new artist rendering of the Park at Harrison Square has been revealed. The park will probably be named Meyer Park in honor of former Fort Wayne Mayor Robert E. Meyers, whose estate has provided a $300,000 gift for the park. The design must be approved by the Fort Wayne Board of Park Commissioners on Thursday at their meeting. This information from Ben Lanka’s Harrison2 webblog.
The only comment I’ll make at this point is that I hope some room for flower beds is included in the design. The flower displays at our local parks are outstanding and this would be the perfect place to showplace them!
