At this point, the ice rebuilding efforts are continuing as at least another inch of ice needs to be built up before safe-skating can take place.Â

The blowouts have been packed with snow/ice and the water is being applied periodically in an effort to rebuild the ice. It is doubtful at this point whether the ice will be thick enough by the scheduled 3 PM opening time of the ice rink. There is a possiblity of the rink opening for an abbreviated session early in the evening. You may either check back here, or call the ice rink after 5:00 PM for a status check. The ice rink office phone number is: 422-7625. If the rink is to remain closed yet today, a message will be posted on the voice mail system. Baring unforseen circumstances, the Ice Rink should be back to normal by Thursday and the weekend for sure!
